“Before coming to Hitch Fit Gym, I was very content–not overly satisfied, but not completely depressed with my body. I worked out on a regular basis but fell into what many of you know as a “gym rut.” I did the same things every single workout, and wondered why I wasn’t seeing any changes. I was an athlete in high school, so blood sweat and tears were somewhat familiar to me. The only thing keeping me from the body I wanted was the know-how to utilize my time in the gym properly. I developed a love/hate relationship with the gym because I couldn’t understand why I didn’t look like the fitness models in all the magazines I read!
I first learned about Hitch Fit through the famous Brandi Wisdom. She is a patient at the dental office I work at and everyone was buzzing about her amazing transformation. Her story inspired me…and I realized I had the potential to look and feel this way about myself too. Within a few weeks, almost as if fate was at work, I received a Groupon notification to the one and the only Hitch Fit Gym. With nothing holding me back I found myself inside the walls of this amazing gym and face to face with Emily!
Roughly 12 weeks later I feel stronger, leaner and more confident then I ever imaged I could feel. When I look at myself I feel proud at what I’ve accomplished…but at the same time I want to see what else I’m capable of! 🙂 This program has made me understand every aspect of what being “fit” really entails. I now enjoy every single second that I spend in a gym, whether its here with Emily or on my own. The things she has taught me will be forever ingrained in me!
Just like anything else in life, this transformation didn’t exactly come easy!! I can remember several times I thought of giving up…but Emily always kept my eye on the prize. She is a great motivator! Some of the obstacles I faced during these 10 weeks were time and my crazy lifestyle. I work 40+ hours a week and was only able to fit in evening workouts…who really wants to do anything when they get off work?!?! I was also traveling every weekend supporting my boyfriend’s little brother who plays football for Oklahoma State. I lived out of a cooler and off of Wendy’s grilled chicken and side salads on the weekends! I had great support from the people around me, which was a HUGE help. I also only came to Hitch Fit once a week due to time and what best fit my budget! Emily informed me that most clients average 2-3 sessions per week.
This was my first time to ever have a personal trainer so I have nothing to compare my experience here too. BUT, this place really has it down! Its such a friendly atmosphere and everyone shares the same passion. Its truly inspiring to see all the transformation pictures hanging on the wall, and to know of all the great success that Micah and everyone here has had! Emily was a phenomenal trainer and I would recommend her to anyone!
My favorite part of this whole experience is how STRONG I feel!!!! I never knew what I had in me until Emily pushed it out of me!! I feel confident in and out of the gym and will be excited for once when bikini season gets here!
I feel very prepared to maintain this transformation over the course of my life! I would like to think that I can continue to get leaner and stronger on my own, now that I have all of the resources. But who knows, maybe there will be a phase 2 for myself at Hitch Fit!! 🙂
My advice to anyone out there is always know that if your heart is in it, you can do anything you set your mind to! Life is too short to not love yourself and your body! When you feel good about who you are inside and out…you’re unstoppable!!! Motivation and accountability are the two main things you need to begin your transformation…and that is what Hitch Fit is all about!
I’m toying with the idea of WBFF Fitness Model… 🙂 But for now, continuing to eat healthy and keeping my workouts productive is my ultimate goal.
