Deb chose to start her transformation around the holidays which was difficult in itself with all the holiday parties, treats at work, famiy obligations and so forth, but then add her jobs peak season which was during and right after the holidays as well!! She had to display alot of self-discipline!!
I am so proud of Deb because even though her schedule was crazy she still put forth maximum effort. She changed her eating habits, she made it to all of her workouts and gave it her all at every session even when she was exhausted. I feel many out there can relate to her situation. Even though it might take us longer to meet our health and fitness goals than originally expected doesn’t mean we should give up. You got to Keep moving forward!! Great job Deb!!! – Amber

“I started out November 15, 2012 for a 16-week transformation with Amber.
I was the heaviest I’d ever been and was in a desperate situation to find a way to lose my weight. I had tried all the fad diets out there like, Weight Watchers, Slim for Life, HCG, to name a few…but all results if any were temporary. I had been monitoring Hitch Fit for awhile, thinking that I’d love to try it, but so unsure if I would “fit in”. I jumped in with an open mind and a little push from my husband, Steve.
As I mentioned, I started in November, AND during the Holidays! It was tough, but I was determined! It was, also, during the busiest time of year at my job, at Cruise Holidays, which has yet to slow down! So every day brought a different challenge, whether it was being able to eat all the food on my meal plan, or get my cardio or workouts in for that day. It was definitely a challenge, but I stuck with it.
I learned so much about weight and resistance training with the proper technique and form. I also learned about how you have to EAT more to fuel your body. I always skipped breakfast and ate the wrong foods late before, not realizing that I was damaging my metabolism. Amber helped me with great enthusiasm and spunk. We laughed all of the time, and I know that I drove her crazy, because I never had time for cardio during my time with her. She is an awesome inspiration herself, and I certainly learned a lot from her. I will take with me, the tools she taught me.
I now have a much higher inspiration to go the distance and see how much more I can do on my own. I am a firm believer that what’s meant to be, will be!
I am proud that I lost weight and inches, and know that I will lose more, as I commit to cardio and eating clean with this new healthy lifestyle.”
