My name is Morgan. I am from Overland Park, Kansas and am a campaign development manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I joined Hitch Fit back in March after following Jamie on social media for a couple of years and seeing all of her AMAZING client transformations.
I grew up heavily involved in athletics and have always made working out and eating relatively healthy a priority. Over the last few years I felt like my weight was fluctuating and that I was constantly trying the next fad diet to shave off a few pounds.
I was searching for a good system to reach my goals when Jamie posted that she had a few openings available at Hitch Fit Gym. I had never worked out with a trainer before but came to Jamie wanting to have a better understanding of nutrition with the goal to lose body fat.
Through this process she has helped me find the right balance between strength training (which I was always so intimidated to do), cardio and eating a healthy, well-balanced diet.
I was fortunate to have an outstanding support system. Early on in my transformation journey, I persuaded my best friend, Lindsay, to do it with me. It has helped so much to have an accountability buddy and it also made those early Wednesday morning workouts the highlight of my week.
I would not have been able to accomplish my goals and feel confident in my fitness journey without all of Jamie’s help, support and motivation. She has taught me so much over the last three months and continues to inspire me through her own fitness journey. Jamie is so great at teaching the why behind things, whether it’s proper form to help prevent injury or explaining how to fuel your body to work for you. I am so fortunate to lean on her wealth of knowledge.
Through this process I have learned that I can accomplish anything that I put my mind to and know that this is only the beginning of my fitness journey!”
