I have been on pins and needles waiting to share Hollie’s Story with everyone!  Hollie transformed along with friend Melanie Hijaz .  Hollie is a super busy mother of 3 children, who juggles a busy career, daily kid activities, and being a good spouse. The last thing on her mind was taking care of herself until she decided to transform her lifestyle with me.  Now, she feels not only healthier, but on top of the world! 
And let me tell you…Hollie was a dream transformation.  She followed the meal plan I wrote for her 100%, and although she couldn’t get in all the workouts/cardio I asked of her, she is a true testament that you are what you eat!  Look at this lady!  She is on fire and amazing in all ways!

Hollie’s Story:
 
Putting myself out there and sharing my journey is not something that I ever thought I’d do.  I don’t like to feel vulnerable or have people judge me, but at the end of the day, if I somehow manage to empower someone else to begin their journey, it is all worth it.  So here it goes….
 
I am a mom to three amazing kids; Carson (10), Lauren (9) and Jax (2).  After having Jax, I found it extremely hard to juggle a career in public accounting, running Carson and Lauren to and from activities, being a good spouse and taking care of a toddler.  At the end of the day, I was exhausted and the last thing I wanted to do was workout.  I, like every other mom out there, made everyone a priority and left little time for “me”.  I had been feeling pretty bad about my body and kept telling myself I was going to lose my “Jax weight”.  I mean, it had ONLY been two years (that still counts, right?).  It had been so easy for me to lose the weight after Carson and Lauren, but now that I was in my thirties, it was so hard.  I would go on these binges where I’d eat healthy(ish) for a few days and maybe I’d get a random workout in few times a month.  I would want buy what my husband would call the “next miracle pill” from GNC because I didn’t want to put in the effort to lose the weight.  I wanted it to be easy.  The reality is that it is not easy (at least initially), it takes work, it takes discipline, and it takes sacrifice.    
 
I met Amy at a soccer tournament in the spring of 2016.   After learning where she worked, I kind of joked around that she would have to train me (knowing full well that I would never make time to do it).  During the summer of 2016 she posted pictures of her clients’ transformations on Facebook.   After clicking through some of them, I noticed she had gone through the Hitch Fit transformation process a few years before.  I could hardly believe it.  There is no way she could have gone through similar struggles.  For me, I think that was my “aha moment”.  I needed to make a change.
 
I told a few of my girlfriends that I was going to go through the Hitch Fit transformation process and my friend Melanie  said she wanted to do it with me.  For me, I think this was the best decision I made (other than working with Amy =)). Having Mel as my workout partner motivated me even more.  Not only did I not want to let my trainer down, I didn’t want to let my friend down.  It has been almost 3 months since our sessions wrapped up.  In looking back, our workouts were some of the most treasured moments I’ve had.  I looked forward to getting my butt kicked by Amy.  I looked forward to working out with Mel and hearing that infectious laugh.  Our sessions were so much fun!  I think anyone working out at the same time as this dynamic duo could attest to how much fun we were having.  We never had a session without a few grunts, a “what the crap” when Amy would tell us what our next set was, and a whole lot of laughter.  These two incredible women had such an instrumental role in my journey and I will forever be grateful. “
