Garrett’s Story and Hitch Fit Gym Review:

“Before Hitch Fit, I thought I was okay eating what I ate, working out every once in a while, and being mediocre. My eating was loose; I knew “good” food from “bad”, but I never had a reason to eat well. I was always told I would never gain weight because of how skinny I was! My confidence was low and my self-image wasn’t the highest. I wasn’t happy with my body.

My mom introduced my to Hitch Fit. She knew Micah and Diana through business. I had never heard of Hitch Fit before, but I had always heard great things about Micah and Diana! Micah connected me with one of the one-on-one trainers at the downtown location of Hitch Fit – Eric Reynolds.

When I signed up, I explained to Eric that I wanted to grow. I wanted to bulk because I was tired of being so skinny. I didn’t really know what to expect other than gaining weight.

The meal plan was a little tough at first…just having to prep food and be on schedule for when you eat. I learned very quickly that when you feed your body the nutrition it needs, you would gain healthy weight. What surprised me was the amount of food I had to eat to gain. It’s harder than it sounds.

A TIP FOR THE MEAL PLAN: prepare your food ahead of time! It’s important to make sure you get all your required nutrition in for the day. You need to understand that nutrition is about 80% of the process. Working out is the easy part.

Towards the end of the transformation program, I got to the point where I was loving the meal plan! I learned how to make all my food the way I liked it. There’s a point in your transformation where people start noticing your changes and that really motivates you to work harder and eat even cleaner.

It was important for me to have a trainer by my side to tell me to do one more rep. That really helped me reach my maximum potential. My transformation went really well. I started noticing my weight going up and I was getting stronger. Best of all, people around me started noticing changes.

During my transformation, I lost a family member that I was really close to. It was really hard to get myself up and go workout. I lost a lot of motivation. I knew that’s not what my family member would have wanted. It was tough, but I pushed through. None of the transformation was “easy”, but it’s worth it.

As a normal guy, my favorite workouts were upper body days. Chest, back, arms always look good all pumped up and swole.

I feel like Eric saw what I could be…better than I could. He started to put that vision into my head and that encouraged me even further.

I met all the trainers at Hitch Fit and they are all the kindest people I’ve ever met! They always gave me compliments when they saw me and made me feel welcome. Eric and I really got along well. I felt like I could ask him any questions without being intimidated or feeling silly.  I feel like Eric was more of a friend than just a trainer.

My results exceeded my expectation. When I saw people I haven’t seen in a few months, they always comment on my progress. And my friends that I saw everyday were noticing too.

My transformation had a positive impact all around me. My family started eating cleaner with me and some of my friends did as well. I feel more confident, more energetic, and I have an overall improvement to my attitude.

To anyone debating on whether or not to join Hitch Fit, I promise you: you won’t regret it. I was skeptical about it because I thought that all training programs were just gimmicks to make money. Hitch Fit is the real deal. It has changed me for the better and I couldn’t be more thankful.”
