Jared’s Story:

“I have always been a tall skinny kid and now that I am in my mid 20’s I want to make a change and not be recognized as the skinny guy anymore so I decided to get some help with a trainer on healthy ways to gain muscle mass. I started this journey with the intention of gaining muscle and toning up by learning new workouts and the biggest accomplishment I wanted to achieve was learning a healthy diet. Always being skinny I have never had to worry about eating the healthiest so I wanted to learn how to eat the proper diet in order to fuel my body to gain the muscle I wanted. 

The transformation process was much slower than I thought it would be. In my past I have always been able to tone up really quick so I figured with having a trainer and proper diet that gaining muscle would be just as quick. That was not true, so I had to keep reminding myself that the process of gaining muscle will take longer and I must stick to it. I think that it has paid off in the end and I plan on keeping that thought in my mind because I want to keep gaining muscle mass and achieve my goal weight.

My future goals would be to gain about 15-20 pounds of muscle mass with about 4-7% body fat. Like I said before I know that this goal will take a lot of hard work and dedication but all goals are so I plan on continuing until I achieve this goal. 

The only thing that I would like to pass along is that you have to stay positive. There were multiple times that I thought negative and that this wasn’t working for me. Those thoughts changed each time I did a weigh in or a body fat check. Seeing the results were always a boost of confidence and kept me striving for my goal. The end photos were very surprising to me to see where I started and now seeing where I am. Always stay positive and do it for yourself!”
